Non-competitive Walking for All Ages
Volkswalking originated in Central Europe as a fun outdoor activity. Volkswalks are non-competitive walking events, completed at an individual’s pace following a map and signage provided.
All ages are welcome to participate in the Volkswalk on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am from the south side of the Biergarten.
Volkswalk Registration
Registration will be open at 9:00 am finish time will be recorded until 4:00 pm. There is no fee, unless participants wish to receive the awards, there is a $3 fee for the award materials.
This walk will be organized by the Albany Fitwalkers, and will include a 400 ft elevation climb up the Abby Hill for a wonderful view of our verdant valley. Families are welcome and strollers make the climb comfortably.
