Volkswalking originated in Central Europe as a fun and easy-going outdoor activity for everyone. These non-competitive walks are all about enjoying the journey at your own pace, with maps and signs to guide your way!
Join us for the Volkswalk on Saturday, September 19th, starting at 9:00 am from the north side of the Biergarten. It’s going to be a fantastic time—bring your friends, family, and a smile. We can’t wait to walk with you! Registration closes at 12:00 noon.

This traditional walk is being organized by the Willamette Wanderers of Salem/Keizer! Get ready for a scenic adventure, as the route includes a 400 ft elevation climb up Abbey Hill, rewarding you with a breathtaking view of our valley.
Families are absolutely welcome, and don’t worry—strollers make the climb comfortably, so everyone can join in on the fun!
