A German favorite – Spaten returns. For those who need something more hoppy and local – we have partnered with 10 Barrel to expand our local NW offerings.

The Biergarten is in our Festhalle, a beautiful building with a hardwood dance floor. Suitable for dancing all day and into the night. The days begin with classical polka and as evening approaches moves into traditional biergarten tunes, and ramps up to Alpine Rock when Die Schlauberger takes the stage.
Minors are welcome until:
- Thursday – 10:00 pm
- Friday – 9:00 pm
- Saturday – 9:00 pm
- Sunday – until close at 6:00 pm
Mount Angel Oktoberfest and our partners believe everyone should enjoy their alcohol responsibly and plan for a safe evening in advance. We provide several options to help make that happen:
- drink moderately and drive home safely
- consider taking the Shuttle to Portland, Woodburn, Salem and Silverton on Friday or Saturday.
- stay locally in one of the RV or camping locations
- arrange for bus, taxi or shuttle transportation prior to attending
- If you have one too many – Uber or Lyft please
Designated driver program
The Designated Driver program begins each day at 5:00 pm. Participants must be 21 and older and pledge not to drink any alcoholic beverages during the evening. Please sign up at the South bar- inside the building- for beverage tickets to use at the Food Booth inside the Biergarten.
Bierzelt (beer tent)
The BierZelt, the biergarten inside the Biergarten; where special brews are served to those looking for variety and unique offerings. The beer selection group is focusing on small brewer and small batch offerings. But when trying to bring that concept to a Garten the size of the Biergarten it took ingenuity. They needed outstanding brewers, who could offer up many styles, but could provide the quantities that our patrons are prepared to consume.
To enter the BierZelt, start by entering the Biergarten. Once inside, just take a right and walk out to the south end and you have arrived – the BierZelt!
