In the Alpinegarten there is not a bad seat in the house. This premium entertainment venue requires admission and is sponsored by the Oregon Garden Resort. Everyone has a great view of the stage and all of the wonderful entertainers. This is the place for audience participation, and everyone is a part of the fun. This is the venue to meet with your family and friends and you may even make new friends! The Alpinegarten is open to all ages during its operating hours, so bring the kids.

The Alpinegarten has a terrific selection of both German and craft beers, wines, with a tasty cider and a seltzer to fit everyone tastes. These offerings represent the best of centuries old brewing German traditions and great representations of our Oregon Craft brewers.

Mount Angel Oktoberfest and our partners, Bit Cork, St. Josef’s Winery and Point Blank Distributors, believe everyone should enjoy their beverages responsibly and plan for a safe evening in advance. We provide several options to help make that happen:
- drink moderately and drive home safely
- consider taking the Shuttle to Portland, Woodburn, Salem and Silverton on Friday or Saturday.
- stay locally in one of the RV or camping locations
- arrange for bus, taxi or shuttle transportation prior to attending
- If you have one too many – Uber or Lyft please
Designated driver program:
The Designated Driver program begins each day at 5:00 pm. Participants must be 21 and older and pledge not to drink any alcoholic beverages during the evening. Please sign up at the bar for beverage tickets to use at the McMinnville Knights of Columbus Booth inside the Alpinegarten.
